Dining Services Overview

 

At the Lion's Den Dining Hall, you may enjoy a contemporary, crowd-pleasing selection of many of your favorite foods along with some of our own tasty specialties.

 

In addition to the Dining Hall, the Food Court in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center is in full operation with all your favorites including Subway, Chick-Fil-A Express, Starbucks, and several other "to go" items.

 

Meal Plan Policies and Terms

Residents at UAFS are required to purchase a meal plan. Whether you live in the Lion's Den or at Sebastian Commons, a meal plan is available to fit your lifestyle. Meal plans are per semester and are billed accordingly. During the period between the fall and spring semesters, students may adjust their meal plans to obtain a meal plan option that best suits their needs. During the first week of the semester, meal plans may be adjusted to a plan which contains equal or more Dining Dollars. Meal plans will not be billed to a student's account until the Housing Office receives a signed housing contract. Students moving in later in the semester may receive a pro-rated "meals per week" plan but the block plans may not be pro rated.

Dining Hall = "All You Care To Eat" dining. "To go" items are available.
  • Food Court = "Ala Carte" dining
    • Food can be taken "To Go"
    • You can use your Dining Dollars here
  • Meal = Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner at the Dining Hall
    • Meals are non-transferable (if you don't use it, you lose it)
    • Meals cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser
    • The "Meal Plan Week" runs Monday - Sunday
  • Block = Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner at the Dining Hall
    • Blocks may be used any day, any meal.
    • Blocks may be shared with friends and guests of the meal plan holder. Only a maximum of two swipes can be used each meal period
    • Plan holder must be present (Photo is on ID)
  • Dining Dollars = Dining Dollars account using your Student ID.
    • Can be used at the Food Court, Dining Hall, or participating merchants off campus
    • Dining Dollars not used during the fall semester will transfer to the spring semester. Dining Dollars expires July 31 each year.

    • Breakfast: 7:15 - 9 a.m.
    • Continental Breakfast: 9 - 10 a.m.
    • Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • Light Lunch: 1:30 - 2 p.m.
    • Dinner: 5 - 7:15 p.m. (Friday 5 - 6:30 p.m.)
    • Late Dinner (made-to-order Grill) 7:15 - 8 p.m. Monday - Thursday
    • Saturday & Sunday
    • Brunch: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Dinner: 5 - 6 p.m. 

 

  • Food Court
    • Starbucks Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Chick-Fil-A Friday from 3 p.m. to 2 p.m.
    • P.O.D. Express: Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.”
